Compared to cylindrical compression springs, the pre-curved / pre-bowed bow spring is subject to a lower load when the bow spring is used in radial applications.  Bow springs are mainly utilized for vibration dampeners. The structural design facilitates the largest possible torsion/rotation angle.

ISRINGHAUSEN’s special manufacturing technologies ensure the highest level of form precision and durability. Round wires from 0.1 mm to 5 mm are utilized.
